And if the film is a commercial success, it will be remade into a regional language. Raja Rani, which released in 2013, was dubbed into Tamil and Telugu languages with the same title. The original audio of this film has been retained for both versions. But interestingly, two different music directors have composed tunes for these films in each language. The Tamil version was scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja while the Telugu one was composed by Sai Karthik. The title theme for both versions is "Sekhata". Raja Rani is the story of an ideal girl with a very caring nature who falls in love with a person who appears to be perfect on the outside but has bad intentions within. The story revolves around Rani, her father and their family's business. Through circumstances, she marries Rajan (played by Sathyaraj). It is revealed that he has an accident which leaves him disabled and has no memory of his past. Though initially, Raja Rani is generous enough to take care of him and his mentally challenged brother, as time passes she starts to dislike him. When she tries to leave both of them to save her family's reputation, the disabled brother turns the tables on her and reveals that Raja Rani is not who she claims to be and what her real intention is behind marrying Rajan. After a good start, the film went on a downhill due to weak execution and lack of logic in many scenes.The audio release function for this film was held at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad on 4 October 2013 under the banner of Geeta Films. Jhansi was featured as the title song, composed by Vidyasagar composed with lyrics written by Veturi. This song became very popular and is still popular with this film. The soundtrack of the film was not successful initially and remade in Telugu as "Raja Raja" starring Chiranjeevi, Sneha. The film failed at box office due to poor execution of the story line and below average performances by the lead stars. The songs were well received by music lovers though.The satellite rights of the film were sold to Gemini TV. The film has been censored and released in 4 centres and came under impact. The film opened to a record opening day, collecting more than 1.40 crores on the first day of release. The collections did not remain this high and declined to a low point of 2 crores by the end of its first week. The film recovered fully by the end of its third weekend and went on to collect more than 5 crores in Tamil Nadu alone, making it the highest grossing film in 2013 after "Prainaigal" (which made 6 crores).
